Big ball, little basket
Think you got game?
yummmmm
Tradition - give the kid a big slice of cake with chocolate frosting on their first b-day
The Puerto Rican's seemed to have adjusted well in their new OK homestead, they are the first redneck surfers I've ever met.
Eric, Stacey and their kids were there to greet us and Dave, Rainey and their kids were going to be arriving that following day - the recipe for fun!!
since lots of the kids were born around the same time- we celebrated a gigantic b-day party, with relatives (Rainey's Relatives) and those of os visiting, we exceeded the fire code regulation for the home by about 125. I think during lunch - we went through 100 hot dogs some steak, bratwursts, pizza and a couple cases of soda.
The cousinsa had a great time playing with eachother, swimming, catchin frogs, whatever they wanted to do in rural OK.
Broden was happily showing off the Bratz rings that he got from Cupcakes:
Dagan was having fun with lots of his girl cousins.
We couldn't pass up the opportunity to take some family pics:
Jim! what did you do to your forehead?
Ok - I was there - Dave was a little closer to the incident than I was, but I watched the event unfold before me. We were playing several games of sand volleyball Windsors-Clark vs the Christensens. We were on a roll - and closed out the day nicely for the Windsors-Clark Team. The Christensens felt the stars weren't aligned just right and wanted some more punishment - I think they thought they might actually step up their game. So the following day, we accomodated them:
They actually did step up their game (a little). It took Jim, digging for the ball and coliding his eyebrow with Dave's knee, for the Windsor's-Clark Team to lose a couple of games...Jim and Charity spoke the next day (Sunday) in sacrament meeting, Jim was able to point out his wound from the non-contact sport of volleyball.
Who would have thought that roles of hay would be soo much fun, this is at the Christensen Angus Ranch!
